Getting around the road closures in Cape Town due to the World Cup Soccer 2010 draw

I’m planning a trip to Sea Point from the Southern Suburbs (Diep River) on Friday night (4th Dec) and that’s exactly when the final draw for the World Cup soccer 2010 competition will be held (@ CTICC).  I was looking for a map – not a list of streets – that show which roads will be closed… Good old 567 CapeTalk radio to the rescue – they have a very readable map of the streets that are going to be affected.

It took me a (long) while to find the maps on their web site, but after a while I found it by clicking on the “Click here for Roads Affected” button (on the LHS of the screen):  {click on the picture below to go there directly}
